My Story
Welcome! I'm Amanda!
My interest in photography began back in 2001 just as we were coming out of the film days. Yes...film! What is that? I was enrolled in the Art Education program at the University of Wisconsin - Oshkosh. I took many Art and Photography classes during this time.
In 2008, I decided to get back into photography. I began by taking photos of friends and family to update my portfolio. I also had the opportunity to shadow a few really great local photographers. Finally, once I felt comfortable on my own; I began offering sessions.
I like to think that I have a creative mind. I never stop thinking "what can I turn this into" or "how can I take a photo with this"? It's true...just ask my husband :)
My three children have been my biggest inspiration in photography. I love that I can capture their silly little smiles to create a lasting memory. I want to create those memories for each and every one of my clients. In addition to my family, my two other loves are coffee and adventures.
My favorite quote sums up my love for photography perfectly:
"What I like about photographs is that they capture a moment that's gone forever, impossible to reproduce." - Karl Lagerfeld -
